Basmachi: A Short Story (1/2)The watch stopped ticking and I was suddenly aware of the outside world again. The grass was green to the point of sickliness, the sky a disturbingly brilliant electric blue, the same blueness of the parasite's eyes that had been such a fixture in my life recently. I like the sharpness of the subject and foreground with the blurred/dampened out background. The details you can see on the bird's beak and feathers is very nice. Good shot!

Haha, thank you. The bird smelled really bad. This was taken when we were in Austria and we started quacking at the ducks. This bird then flew really close by so I took a picture. I've actually never been so close to a bird before)

I've never been so close to a small bird like that before, but the crows at my school are completely desensitized from humans. I can almost touch one before it spazzes and flies away. |D
