It was like a dream for me. I never thought that I would get to see something as beautiful as that. And think about it, back then, they didn't have as many machines as we do now...yet they still managed to make something so beautiful...their faith in God must've been very strong indeed...if only mankind thought about the spiritual more often now!
lol my family is sort of the same, but once I turned 12 or something I decided to not go anymore. And because they didn't feel obligated to go to church or whatever my parents stopped going as well. : 3 But they are still hardcore religious anyway, just without the actual church bit.
Yeah same. The older I get, the more I realize you can be a perfectly good and spiritual person without ever going to church. And you can be a shitty person and go to church every sunday. : / Plus there's so much hypocrisy, so I kinda just give up.
I used to go to a catholic church. : / Very strict, with hell-fire-and-brimstone kind of sermons.
rofl, I used to go to a Christian school that was like, if you don't believe in OUR kind of Christianity, then you will burn in hell for the rest of eternity...like what the heck? I understand why they want to convert people, but if Christianity is about unconditional love and forgiveness, why would God send any of his beloved creations to burn in the lake of sulfur forever and ever? I'm not atheist, but I can't quite bring myself to see the world in black and white...
