Actually yes, why? It was mainly because when I first arrived to Shanghai, I almost became insane because of the constant heat, so the when I arrived to Beijing it was raining for 2days and I frankly welcomed it! XD And even during the rain, I got all the time to visit Tianmen Square, Forbidden Palace and temple of Heaven for one day, because next day The Great Wall and that trip was endless for whole day. Temple of Heaven was my favourite place. Actually I wanted also to visit Mausoleum, only because I wanted to see the corpse of Chairman Mao, but my guide refused to because of the long lines from morning to afternoon and the other people in the group did not want to either. Damnit.
Dude, I want to go to mainland China one of these days. (sorry, that was sort of inflammatory, but I like Taiwan) I mean, my dad's been, my mom's been, and my grandpa lived there for a year or something of his life...
The lighting is nice. It adds a sense of foreboding which I think is good for this scene. Was it smog or fog or rain that doused the background in white?
Thanks. Yeah, it was the smog, since it was very polluted there.
BUT PEOPLE IN CHINA, DEY RACIST TO ME. No, honestly. They treated this white guy SO MUCH better than they treated me and me family. I was like, shit, I'm Western too! But all because I'm not the Nordic man of their dreams...
Nordicism. It's everywhere. Damn March of the Titans.
lolololol. Well, it's not like you want to be that Nordic man. That'd be downright awkward. Even if you were a Nordic-looking female, I don't think they'd give you any more attention than what you recieved that day. But, c'mon. I don't think they see Nordics often enough.
uh, I thought it was okay, but they treated me kinda like shit because I don't speak Mandarin (I'm Cantonese))) LOL while they treated this other guy from Canada like gold though, mainly (well, I think so at least) because he's white.
The place was beautiful though. Sans the pollution, of course. The food sucked balls!
